I had to wait ages for the monorail to come - amazing, never there when you have a finger on the shutter!
 
Hey, I've been there!

I waited for a long time outside Alice in Wonderland to get this shot:

Which of course is still luck because I was using film, and the monorail was on "one-way using 1/2 of the track" due to the DCA construction, so it was going backwards for this shot. Those were fun days - trying to figure out which direction the monorail was going to be coming from...in fact I think I did have to stay and wait for it to come back in order to get the shot.

it would be really nice if those floral arrangements would be there all year long... i guess it would be tough with the summer heat but it would be nice nonetheless.
