Had a great time at the studios between multiple Mulch, Sweat and Shears Sets and the fantastic shows.

Speaking of shows, did you know that the stuntman that falls off the roof actually bounces?

Hope you don't mind, Red - I renamed your thread for the LMA show, since that's what you posted photos from anyway - I figure with the multiple meets at DHS, we will probably need separate threads anyway for the various different shows and meets - this one can be the official LMA thread!

And I can't say I ever noticed that the stunt man bounces! ; I never run my burst past him hitting the pillow, so never picked that up.

Some of my shots from the LMA show...

A 15-frame, 7fps burst of the car jump - amazing that all happens in about 2 seconds!:

Today's safety tip: ; When you're out riding your motorcycle and a guy in a gray jacket comes up beside you, get away as fast as you can!

Good closeup Dennis - and nice timing to catch the kick like that. ; Looks like they do make a little contact, even if light!

Thanks, Justin. ; It may be one of those things that looks close from the stands, but in reality they're a safe distance apart.

Here's something that may also be an illusion: ; The driver goes where the guy on the ground points.

That way? ; Are you sure?

Great action shots guys. Gillian and I missed this meet since my Dad and I were performing in our own "stunt" show over at the WDW Speedway in the Ferrari 458 Italia. ; 8)

Did you drive in reverse next to a black Ferrari and shoot at him out the driver's window? ; Knock a guy off his motorcycle? ; I might need to try that drive experience if they let you do some stunts too! ; ;)

Ha! Actually, I was in the black Ferrari. The only "stunt" we got to do was passing the rest of the field about three times in six laps. Its amazing that people pay that kind of money to drive a supercar on a race track at residential location speeds. That actually worked out to my advantage since every time a slower car held me up they gave me an extra lap. Ended up with a 10 lap drive on a 6 lap experience.

I've always wanted to try that experience, but thought that they might be a bit too restrictive as to how wide open you can push...I'm afraid I'm a bit of a speed freak, so I'd really want to explore the high triple-digit area of the car's potential - in the 180+MPH region...I don't think they'd let you go quite that wild. ; I've driven my own cars in the 145-150MPH region several times on tracks and empty roads, so if I had something that could potentially go faster, I'd want to push it there.

The Exotic Car Experience puts you through a "road course" section of the track they built in the infield so you don't get time to build too much speed. They were not restrictive on how fast they let you go, you just gotta keep it on the track. I saw 126 mph and if I used more track and more brake I may have been able to get another 5-10mph. You're basically limited by the speed you can go around the last turn before the straight and the length of the straight.

Very nice! ; Somehow it's never occurred to me to bring a wide lens to that show!

    That's the advantage of a wide-range zoom like Nikon's 28-300.
