I see this info on the DL site:

General admission tickets go on sale June 18, 2026, and the waiting room to purchase will open at approximately 8:45 AM Pacific Time.
 
I'm not sure if one person buying the tickets would work. I guess one person could buy four adult tickets. My Bash ticket from 20222 has a bar code with a number that I entered to link it to my account, but it also has my name on it and says it is not transferable.

Disneyland doesn't have a Friends & Family option to link accounts like WDW does. However, we can scan each others park tickets to link us together for Lightning Lanes.

Theres gotta be a way. How would a family of five get tickets?
 
I agree, but I've posted the question in a Disneyland forum. We may or may not get an answer there.

As a test, I went through the steps to purchase four Adult park tickets. One of the last steps I got to was entering the names of the people who will use the tickets. So I think that answers the question, assuming that Bash tickets use the same process.
 
I looked into it too. Non-transferrable just means you can't legally sell them, but you can give them to anyone with the linking process.

Regarding Bash tickets, what is the real possibility of a sell out for the 22nd and needing to go to our back up day? If it sells out after one of us gets tickets and before the rest, how will we know? Do they use the online queue system that WDW uses? If the likelihood is high, my thought is to just put one person in charge of purchasing all the tickets and then join up on the app and distribute them. I know Dennis is traveling on the 18th and I am working. Is @Joanie Eddis-Koch busy that day? I could hide at work and get it done if necessary.

I volunteer to get all four of our tickets for the Oogie Boogie bash. Let me know if that's what everybody wants to do.

I'm also good with Carthay circle, Trader Sam's and I especially would like to go to the Blue bayou for either a late lunch or an early dinner. I really love the vibe of the Blue bayou. The food is good too.

Dennis if you don't want to go to Griffith observatory I have Thursday or Friday to do that before we get started with the Disney parks portion of the trip. Just let me know. I really want to get up there with the camera and the tripod and get some shots of LA. Hopefully the weather will cooperate.

So we are definitely adding a park day on Saturday, confirmed? I will purchase the extra Disney park ticket.

I also plan on renting a scooter so I will make sure I have it ready for Saturday. This is out of an abundance of caution, meant to limit walking and aiding in keeping up with you young whippersnappers.

I can still walk around but I think it's prudent too take it easier with the scooter rather than hoofing it with all the walking back and forth on foot. As a public service for our group I shall act much like the cow catcher on a train in clear out the path ahead from any lumbering Larrys and Lucy's.

My knee replacement is still not progressing as fast as I would like it to and it's just giving me all sorts of problems.

@Joanie Eddis-Koch Since you also want to go to the Griffith Park Observatory, let's try to do it on Sunday, if that's OK with you. That will save you a trip.

You should be able to add an extra day to your ticket. We may have to do that when we arrive or after we enter the park - I'm not sure which. I hope buying the tickets from Undercover Tourist won't make that any more difficult. I tried to add a day to my ticket using the Change My Ticket option on the Disneyland web site. It would only let me change it to a 5-day ticket, which cost $18 for the two days plus $170 for Lightning Lane. I think I'll try my luck with guest services instead. Alternately, I can buy a new 4-day ticket from Undercover Tourist for $694.24 ($90 more than a 3-day ticket) and use the 3-day ticket next year.

@ExploringWDW has offered to buy my Bash ticket since I'll be driving to Pennsylvania. I'll let him decide if he wants you to buy them all. I'm fine either way. Thanks for offering.

Sorry your knee is still causing problems. Can you send it back and ask for a refund?
 
It's time to discuss and compile a list of dining venues that we're interested in. I think July 21st is our 60 days out reservation window opening.

I believe everybody agrees that Trader Sam's on Tuesday @ 1:30 or 2pm before the Oogie Boogie bash is the way to go. Is there a line to get into Oogie Boogie at 3:00 p.m. for early admission? If yes then we might need to consider moving Trader Sam's a little earlier, especially if costume changes are involved. Another factor to consider with Trader Sam's is since it's so small they almost never seat reservations on time.

Other places mentioned are
Carthay Circle Lounge DCA
Blue Bayou DL
Lamp light Lounge DCA

Are there any other considerations? I'm thinking that some of the bars/dining experiences would be more in demand with the cast of characters on this trip, so it might be good to figure out how to fit that in, in between table service dining.

As for timing I'm thinking a late lunch/ early dinner schedule would work for not conflicting with any evening shows. It's also good to take a break in the middle of the day because none of us are getting any younger.

Another reason for mid day table service dining is that I'm not sure what will be offered in the evening since it's Disneyland, and Oogie Boogie is running. The schedule is not up yet for September.

What is the group thinking? I'm willing to go with the flow.

Today's Southwest fare sale saved me some money. Check your reservations to see if your price changed. Also be sure to look at both Orange County John Wayne (Santa Ana/SNA) and Long Beach/LGB to see if changing airports saves you more.

One change I made is changing my flight to Californa from Orange County to Long Beach. Besides getting a cheaper flight, I arrive 90 miinutes earlier, at 5:30 pm instead of 7:00 pm. So I should get to the Candy Cane Inn a little earlier.

When I initially tried to rebook my flight, the page with all of the flights did not show me a lower price for the flight and ticket level on my current flight. I had to change to a different flight then change back to the original flight to get the lower fare. It's a pain, but apparently the "new Southwest" changed their rules. I paid with points, so that might have been the reason. Has anyone else had to deal with this?

I did some research and it appears that Disneyland's Trader Sam's no long takes reservations - you have to get on a waiting list now. With luck, there won't be much of a crowd at noon on a Tuesday, but we should be prepared for a possible wait.

There is a Bash line at 3 pm, so I recommend waiting until 3:30 to enter.

As for the other dining options, I'll be able to think about that kind of thing tomorrow. Retirement is taking up too much of my time today.
