Since there were Topics for Days 1 and 2, I thought I would add Day 3... Here are some of my Favorites from Animal Kingdom... Rainforest Froggy... Baby Elephant... "AFRICA! Now Shake It!" ; (he kept yelling this at the Ladies drumming with him... for some reason ; : ) Spoonbill
Was trying to figure out the title of the photo until I actually followed the link and read the explanation. ; Very informative and funny.
I guess I really should explain some of my more obscure captions. ; Elvis and Alfalfa are who I'm reminded of when I look at the hair on top of the giraffe's horns. This caption should need no explanation. Found him!
Great shot Dennis!! ; Here are a few of mine from that day. ; I went to the 10:30 show since I know the actor that plays Crush and he was in the first 2 shows only. ; It was important for my mom to see him since she is friends with his mom, it was cool for her to see him. ; I only wish that I had a longer lens, I was shooting my 50mm 1.4 lens. ; Next time I may try my zoom and see what the ISO ends up being. ; Here are my 2 favorite ones Crush #7 by jbwolffiv, on Flickr Crush #4 by jbwolffiv, on Flickr
Nice shots, John. ; It has to be extra nice when you know the CM. The 50mm is a great lens when you're in the front section. ; There are enough characters in the aisles that it can be better than a zoom in some locations. Meanwhile, on a two-week safari: Seeing spots
Nice catch Dennis. ; They were lying down when I went through. ; At least they were visible and not hiding like the lions.
Here are a few from my walk on the Maharajah Jungle Trek, both shot through the glass. Tiger! #2 by jbwolffiv, on Flickr Sleeping Kitty by jbwolffiv, on Flickr
and a few more from that same walk... Fruit Bat #1 by jbwolffiv, on Flickr Hanging Bat by jbwolffiv, on Flickr Monkey by jbwolffiv, on Flickr
indeed, last years pixelmania trek featured a fruit bat, a very flexible fruit bat, well let's just say he was having a fun day all by himself
Thanks for clearing that up for me, I can only imagine the comments that were made that day! ; ;D Nice shot of the gorilla Jim!
John, we are still commenting on that day! ; LOL! ; In addition to the bats, there was also this guy in the room that was as monotone as you can get, commenting that "it's only a fruit bat" and so on, but it was all hilarious.
