Pirates and Princesses to return in August

The decision was made so recently that no dates have yet been determined, but Disney's Pirate & Princess Party will return on "selected dates in August." Disney is hoping that they'll get a better turnout this time, because they were very disappointed in the number of tickets sold during the first 13 parties held in January through March.

 

In all fairness to the people who visited in the first few months of this year... it wasn't very well publicized WHEN the parties were. ; All the propaganda we saw said "selected dates". ; Now, I'll admit, there may have been more specific stuff given to the people travelling with children... but somehow I doubt it. ; So really, in order to find out when (or even how much, or where/what exactly this thing is), you had to call someone.

Well... I can only speak for DH and I... we don't make those kinds of calls when we're ON vacation... and we didn't really hear much about it before we went (and it's not like we live under a rock).... so I think this one falls under the heading of "their own darn fault" if Disney don't think they got a good response.

But maybe that's just me.

 

Heck... we didn't even see it promoted on any of the in-room Disney promo channels.

 

I would have gone but unfotunately it ended March 8 the day before I went to Disney. From what I have seen I would have paid for the fireworks alone they looked awsome. I hope it will be around in December when I go next.
