OK...thought I'd try a new game idea here in the Elements and Derivatives forum. Here's how it works: I'll kick it off with this thread, in which I'll ask the next poster to "Show me" a photo of something - I can be very general or a little more specific. We probably don't want to get too specific or noone may have the photo! The next poster who comes up with the requested photo is then in charge for naming the next photo he or she would like to see. It can be anywhere, or anything...as long as it isn't too minutely detailed (no "show me a photo of a 43 year old woman in a red polka dot shirt wearing a babushka next to a light post on Main Street across from the Confection shop at 3:32pm on a Sunday"). If a requested photo doesn't come up in a reasonable time (say 24 hours?), then someone can post the closest thing they've got and keep the thread moving. What say you? So, to kick off the thread... SHOW ME...The Tomorrowland Transit Authority!
Nice Jeremy...and thanks for playing along! This thread may not move quite as fast as the other elements threads, because it requires a specific photo each time...but I figure it could be fun. I'm going to throw up the unusual fireworks shot to keep things rolling, and push this along, then I'll step back and see if it gets some participation. And next, Show me...something Italian! (Epcot, an italian restaurant, name...anything from any Disney park that could be considered Italian). [attachment deleted by admin]
I really like this thread concept! Here are some Venetian boat posts (um, is there a more formal name than that?) SHOW ME: Candy or Sweets! [attachment deleted by admin]
My DD enchanted by the candy buffet at Chef Mickey's: I'd love to see any character from the Animal Kingdom!
SeaTrackers at the Grand Floridian. In the full res I can see the castle in the distance . Show me ... a topiary, a flower bed or special floral arrangement.
Dug through the archives for one from the Flower & Garden festival! Show me...Mr. Walter Elias Disney! (in any form or location...photo, statue, topiary, actor-imitation, etc) [attachment deleted by admin]
No macro shots? . Here's one taken with my 55-200 lens just outside the Animal Kingdom entrance. I wish I had the nerve to carry around the macro all day. Maybe I'll take some at the resort this time . What about Ohana? Anything that has to do with Lilo & Stitch or family?
Here's an Ohana!: But no Lilo and Stitch in the shot. Hopefully that still fits the bill. BTW - I didn't have any true macros from Disney world...but I had a closeup of the flowers at Saratoga Springs I was going to post if noone else came up with a true macro: Yours is a real macro though, so it's more apropos! Anyway, SHOW ME...a photographer taking a photo! (Somewhere in your shot, even if it isn't the main subject)
This is a (maybe 6) shot hand-held panorama. The photographer was captured by accident, and it turned out to be a nice centering image. Oh, and it's my 100th post. Yay! Show me: Roger Rabbit, any where, any version. [attachment deleted by admin]
Ya snuck up on me there! I was thinking about Stitch before but I don't think I ever took a picture of the "Call Stitch" thing they had at Innoventions. (No, not that one. The other one.) Show me: Any audio-animatronic!
One Dwarf, at your service: [attachimg=1] Show me...a tiger, or a tigger! [attachment deleted by admin]
