Phew! Some Disney Star You’ve Never Heard of is Not a Cutter BY: Actress Archives ; | ; Friday, December 12, 2008 ADVERTISEMENT The bloggers were abuzz the other day, when a photo of squeaky clean Disney star Demi Lovato (16) hit the web in which Lovato was photographed with some suspicious looking red indentations on her wrist. Was the lovable tween a secret cutter? No. Instead, she was wearing a bracelet that was too tight. Times are just a little bit slow, in the world of celebrity news... Lovato’s publicist Allison Leslie told E! that Perez Hilton’s musings that Lovato cut herself (he was the first to post the photo), were completely false. Said Leslie, "Demi was wearing gummy bracelets just prior to her appearance on the red carpet and, because of how tight they were, they left indentations on her wrist." For those of you who are like us, and still have trouble keeping track of this new generation of famous tweens, Demi Lovato became famous when she appeared opposite Joe Jonas (the one who owns a flat-iron, and probably takes more time grooming his eyebrows than most of us spend grooming our entire bodies), in the Disney Channel movie, “Camp Rock”. She went on to open for the Jonas Brothers on their tour, and released an album called “Don't Forget”, in September. She is currently working on another Disney movie called “Princess Protection Program” and a show called “Sonny With a Chance.” So maybe this story amounts to nothing more than a tale of a young girl with a too-tight bracelet (what’s a gummy bracelet anyway? God, we must be really old), but at least now you know which one she is, so you can dazzle your younger siblings with your impressive knowledge of which Disney star is which. Oh also, she’s Selena Gomez’s BFF. Don’t know who that is? Well, that’s a lesson for another day. http://www.actressarchives.com/news.php?id=13722
Selena Gomez is the one that plays on that Wizard Show!LOL Yep, things must be really slow if they mistaken that for cutting! ; Cutters only wear long sleeves to protect themselves from being discovered! Sad, isn't it!
