    D300 w/ 28/2.8 - very few came out. :-[

Maybe I really need that Sigma 30/1.4 ;)

i agree, peter pan is probably the hardest attraction for me to get photos on... autofocus is a nightmare because of the black lighting and low levels in general.

Those two are great gdad. I've been wanting the sigma 30 too. I've got the nikon 50 1.4, but 50 is usually too long on the crop body :(

Roger, did you get on peter pan with your rented 1.2??

Nope, ISO 6400 and 1.2 didn't get to meet in that ride. :(

These are the best I got with my Nikon D50 at 1600 with the Sigma 30mm f/1.4 wide open with -2 exposure compensation:

Most things were hard to focus on because it is so dark and that the ride moves pretty quick. Lots of movement as your riding which makes it even harder to get a focus even if you might have the right equipment.

Much better than anything I've been able to score on Peter Pan. That ride is dark. My poor autofocus goes nuts and never locks on anything

I'm impressed with all of the photos posted here. I'm going to take my first shot at it this week. I fully expect to run out crying like a little girl before heading to the Dole Whip stand for comfort. ;D
