Wonderful series Howie. ; Saturday evening near dusk I think (meaning I think it was an osprey) I had a close encounter with one. ; It landed on a fence just 5 feet off the road near my home. ; Of course I didn't have my camera with me! ; (I think it was chasing some small birds) And of course it was gone in the few mins to get home and get back.....
that first one is awesome. ; wish i could have made it there with you but i got called in to work... ; shocking!
thanks Roger. ; Osprey only eat fish. They will chase other birds over territory though. I have seen them fight with seagulls quite a few times Tim, you worked OT !!!!!!!! ; hold cow what a shocker. I am going out again tomorrow as it is supposed to be another great day
I think he is trying to figure out if the lens is a blue fish. ; I sure what confused him was that it was on land about 6 feet about the surface. ; Great shots, btw!
