On my last visit, a few weeks ago, halfway through Believe, one of the Orcas beached herself and stopped the show. While they tried to ignore it (which is how they handle bad behavior from their animals), after about 10 minutes they cancelled the rest of the show. She just stayed there, every now and then splashed her tail. Apparently Orlando sent over one of their seniors to San Antonio this spring; while they didn't tell us the name of this one, I'm guessing that she's still adapting to the new pool.
Some shots from the first part of Believe... (on a side note, apparently there are Believe! groupies that know the show kind of like how I know Fantasmic!)
Like a big, pouting dog. Though admittedly these animals are much less removed from the wild as their very very domesticated 4-legged friends...so I can almost understand a bit of 'attitude' from them. Still, cool moment captured - sometimes these spontaneous little occurrences are more interesting than the usual glitch-free show!
Yeah, that's true. But now I've seen the gamut of the spectrum, from her above to Halyn before she died - she was raised by human hands since her mom rejected her, and there was just something in her eyes....
