Well, there is no way we can stay onsite, it's just NOT in the budget. ; We are planning to go down the end of Jan beginning of Feb, I found awesome rates for the Rodeway Inn.....$36.00/night I did a couple of searches on Trip Advisor and Expedia and the comments were mostly pretty good. ; We are also renting a car so transportation is not an issue. ; Has anyone here stayed there? ; We stayed at the Extended Stay Deluxe Convention Centre in Jan 2006, it was ok, but it was so far away from anything, even just to go for a walk at night. ; The Rodeway seems like it is in the middle of alot of action. ; We have 2 kids (4 & 7) and would like cheaper restaurants and stuff nearby. Anyone have any input?
You may want to check some of the hotels that are near Downtown Disney. ; I had a friend stay at one in December and all they had to do was walk to Downtown Disney and then hop a bus. ; I don't remember the name, but if I see her today, I will ask her. Oh I just got chance to ask her. ; It was the Vista Hotel. ; Here is it's website. She said it was really cheap. http://www.orlandovistahotel.com/
WOW, Thanks I had no clue about that hotel, it is super cheap! ; This just might be the one!! ; THank you thank you! ; I am heading out to get our passport pics done, then I have to take the applications in on Monday. ; So I wil not be booking anything until I get our passports unfortunately.
We have stayed at the Comfort Inn Lake Buena Vista a few times and been quite satisfied with it. http://www.comfortinnorlando.com/accommodation.htm I have not heard of the Rodeway Inn...I just looked it up. If it is the one on International Drive, I would pick one closer. That is quite a way from Disney. Try to find one in Kissimmee. There are lots of good hotels there and close to everything. Here is a good website to check things out. http://www.floridakiss.com/
