finally got a decent shot of one. anyone that knows these raptors knows how hard they are to shoot or get focus on. they change direction so fast

Lovely shot! I love harriers - definitely a favorite of mine to shoot in flight. They can definitely be a challenge when they're hunting.

there is a tree at Forsythe they fly around sometimes and I saw it at a distance and got over there in time to get off a dozen or so shots. when they are hunting in the marshes forget about it. like a roller coaster going at mach1 and going back and forth across the road from one side to the other and than when they change direction and come right at you it is impossible to get focus lock. plus the fact the speed limit thru there is 15 and they go 40 plus without even flapping.
