I really wanted to get some good photos of the shows at Hollywood Studios. I tried various things but the key was using RAW so I didn't have to worry about the white balance changing from all the different lighting used throughout a performance. Especially when red or blue lighting is used. While our eyes don't see it, the camera does. White balance set in Aperture 2. Nikon D70/18-200VR, 1/160s, f/5.6, ISO 400, EV +0.3, 200mm focal length Even the characters looked better. Nikon D70/18-200VR, 1/125s, f/4.8, ISO 400, EV +0.3, 50mm focal length Timing is still needed. Helps to know the show, too. Nikon D70/18-200VR, 1/125s, f/5.6, ISO 560, EV +0.3, 200mm focal length Nikon D70/18-200VR, 1/125s, f/5.6, ISO 400, EV +0.3, 42mm focal length I used to blow the reds so bad I couldn't recover them using JPEGs. Gaston's shirt and cape look much better this time around.
