nik silver plug in pic

    Howie,

    If one didn't know any better, they may have mistaken this for a nice antique photograph taken during the heyday of raillines

    second that about the old rail look, is this plug in part of the nik effects suite, i'm starting to get interested in these 3rd party plug ins

    thanx guys. Gary,I just got the plug in itself as a trial. they do have a suite but it isnt cheap
    about 600 I believe

    Nice work HW! I played around with that plugin too. I'd love to get it, but just can't justify the price right now...

    I love the antique photo effects it creates

    Western Maryland Scenic Railroad #734, also known as Mountain Thunder. That photo was taken at Western Maryland Station in Cumberland, MD.

    these are great guys.
    That graining the filter creates is exactly what I find missing in all my b-w conversions.

    Thanks Craig. You should give that filter package a try... its the best B&W conversion that I've ever used. You can even select your favorite B&W film and it alters the photo to mimic the exposure qualities and grain of the old film.

    Craig is like me, a member of the PSP Mafia.

    So like he mentioned, it isn't standalone. Unless he goes back to using PSP, but I think he likes ACDSee's Photo Editor.
