Hey I was hoping I could find a forum like this one. ; A place for lovers of Disney World and lovers of pictures to come together ; So anyways, ; I'm Kaigler, nothing special, just a family name. ; I'm 27 years old and I have been to Disney World five times since my first visit in 1996. ; Ever since that first visit I have longed to be there whenever I'm not. ; Now for a bit of a sob story. ; I was going to propose to my gf there in August, but I think she got scared of the commitment she had claimed to want and we decided to break up. ; I couldn't cancel the Disney World trip though - I didn't have the heart to do it because I was so excited to go. ; So instead I'm taking my mother who is equally fanatical about Disney World! ; And instead of a ring, I bought a camera and a few really nice lenses. ; One of my first big projects will be this Disney trip and I can't wait to share my photos and experience with some of you guys/gals and others. Well thats my motivation in a nut. ; Hope to hear from you! Kaigler

Welcome! ; You've already got the Disney spirit, always thinking of the good - turning lemons into lemonade. ; And what a nice guy to take mom too - I go to Disney with my mom at least once per year as she loves the place too. ; It's great to have a mother and/or father who you can be friends with too. I spread out my 5 or 6 Disney trips each year to get all kinds of trips - once with lots of family and friends, once or twice with mom, once with one or two friends only, and once or twice solo...plus the annual TMIP gathering thrown in. ; I love going to Disney with or without friends or family - it's a great place for huge gatherings, intimate trips, or solo fun! Congrats on the camera stuff too - sounds like you'll have a lot of fun with it. ; I'm due to head up sometime in August (or maybe September, depending on how my building's termite tenting schedule ends up). ; Maybe we'll cross paths if it ends up August!
Kaigler, welcome to the forums! Thanks for sending some of that rain down here; the rain was able to penetrate our defense shield. ; It was only 0.1", but still.... Nice little setup you got with that though. ; Sorry to hear about the situation.
