OK, that subject line sounds a little strange.

BlackRapid as released a new camera strap designed specifically for women, the RS WS-1. ; The front side of the strap is curved so it fits comfortably between those bumps that most women (and some men) have on their chest.

  2. Hmm ive never had my camera hang by one side before. Makes me nervous!

It depends on your situation. ; I wouldn't recommend one in a big, tightly-packed crowd, but otherwise it's not too bad. ; I found that I tended to keep my right hand on the camera when I was walking around to keep it from bouncing around too much. ; I even used it with a 70-200 zoom; connecting to the tripod socket on the lens meant it hung perfectly balanced at my side.

If you get a chance to try one out, do so. ; They're kind of expensive to just buy on a whim.

Actually I think it could be better, it will depend on your style/camera bag. ; I like where it hangs, and I usually keep one hand on it when I'm going through a crowd of people.....

I like this, a lot better than my regular strap. ; I always wear my camera over one shoulder, and hold it in that hand to keep it from bouncing around AND to keep some random person from knocking into it. ; I think that I like the RS-5 and am really thinking of getting this now. ; Thanks!

Actually, it doesn't sound that strange coming from you, Dennis. ;)

This is on my Christmas list but I think I might ask for it for Halloween. ;D
