My new toy!

    Sean decided to surprise me last night with a Canon 5D! ; And here I thought we were going to buy an air conditioner. ; I am in shock that I have this new piece of equipment sitting on my desk right now. ; I would much rather be playing with my new toy than working, but looks like work wins. ; It looks a little intimidating, but hopefully I have time to learn the ins and outs of it before our next Disney trip. ; I guess no more pop-up flash for me.

    If any of you have any great tips or tricks with this camera I would love to hear them.

    Awesome, Karen. ; Have fun with it. ; It's not a bad learning curve and jumping around on the settings screen with the little joystick is a breeze. ;

    I'm sure you know by now but your EF-S lenses are not compatible with the 5d series. ;
