downloaded Nik HDR Efx pro demo and took 3 shots at -2 ; 0 and +2 stops and combined them in that program it was very foggy this morning in Smithville I can see I need lots of practice on this effect compared to what others post on here
Like how the fog came out and the detail of the carousel. ; Isn't' this the program where it creates a bunch of versions for you to choose from and then tweak?
thanks DDindy and Scott and yes Scott it does give you a bunch of versions to choose from and tweak. I could spend months learning that program. doubt I will buy it though at 160 bucks. I wouldn't use it enough to justify the cost as I spend 99% of my photo time at forsythe
that's what we all used to say, you've started down that long slippery slope, "well what else could i use this program on, wait a minute, i could go to disney with tim, there's lot's of hdr subjects there"
Not to mention the trick of creating a bracketed set of photos from one image and then creating an HDR from those. ; Might want to try that with any bird photos where the lighting was not just right. ; But it could be. ;
did this with photomatix. I think it has a more realistic look to it. If I buy an HDR program this will be the one.
When you do decide to buy. ; Look for coupon codes. ; Many photographer blogs have them and usually run about 15% off.
