I found an interesting video over at Strobist on how to modify the SB800 so it will rotate 180° to the right. For those of you who don't have the SB800, it rotates 180° to the left, but only 90° to the right. When holding the camera vertical, the 90° limit to the right only allows you to bounce straight up off the ceiling which will leave dark spots under your subject's eyes. When possible, its better to bounce the light off of a ceiling/wall joint over your shoulder because it provides a better light source.

    Anyway, here's the link: http://strobist.blogspot.com/2008/10/today-on-strobist-surgery-channel.html

Note: Its possible to ruin your flash doing this and it will void the warranty.
