I was just wondering what everyone had planned for the May Long weekend? Anyone going camping? Sean and I will be celebrating our 1st year wedding Anniversary on Sunday. ;D ; Yay!
Happy anniversary! This weekend we plan on watching ottawa beat buffalo!!!! other than that just relaxing around the house!
Congrats on the 1st of many!!!! Not much happening here. ; I've been on the road all week... so lots of chores to do. ; Mrs. Highland is working tomorrow. ; We'll be going camping next weekend at a campground not far from home. ; It'll be the first time to try out the new (to us) tent trailer. ; It's our son's 7th birthday, so he's chosen to do "camping with a friend" instead of a party.
Congrats on your 1st. We went to Montreal for the weekend to see the Once Upon a Time; Walt Disney exhibit at the Musee de beaux arts. It was a really good exhibit with 14 sections in total covering everything from Anthropomorphism to the Disney feature animation movies up to Sleeping beauty. You can see alot of similarities in the european art of the time and the animation Disney created. They even had some test drawings my favourite was Iwerks drawings of Mickey for Steamboat Willie. They also had the models used in some of the animation such as the Pinocchio marionette. Unfortunately security was higher that it is at the airport and no photographs or video of anykind was allowed. We then went to the Biodome, then the old town. On Sunday on the drive back we stopped at Upper Canada Village near Cornwall allways fun. Then Monday I planted my garden. I'm looking forward to getting back to work so I can take a break.
