http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_ne ... ttractions Very interesting read...... Some I knew about, some I have some doubts about the truthfulness (could of been just a rumor).
Makes me wonder about the Pop Century Legendary Years section that is in limbo. Eerie video of the Legendary Years ghost hotel. Looks like Prypiat, Ukraine the city abandoned after the Chernobyl nuclear accident back in '86 http://www.youtube.com/v/bSc1fG0ETeY&hl=en
Ok, some of these sound really cool. ; I like the Quest for the Unicorn hedgemaze idea and the simulated Bullet Train Ride would be too cool. ; Fire mountain where you are in a roller coaster through an active volcano, I would think the imagineers would do a fine job on that one. ; Oh and the Copperfield Magic Underground, I would be the first in line for that one!! That link was pretty neat, thanks Sorcerer Mickey
Our first trip as adults was in 1998, and back then our guide book has the restaurant listed as opening mid-1998, and it's drawn on the map beside the Theater to the Stars. Here's the description: "Here's an opportunity to dine in magician's workshop surrounded by props and tricks of the trade. Guests are immersed in interactive magic and illusions as they dine on pasta, steaks, satay, and pizza and other eclectic entrees. Beer, wine and spirits are served, as are espresso and cappuccino. Open for lunch and dinner; reservations necessary. The restaurant is accessible from both inside and outside the park. Opening mid-1998." I keep all my old guide books ; ;D I think that list is interesting, but seems to contain known items that were then cancelled. I would love to hear more conceptual information ... like when (or if) are they going to remove the building in Fantasyland that housed the skyway, and what are they going to replace it with? What are their future plans for the old sub ride lagoon in WDW? Last time we were there, they moved the Winnie-the-pooh character greets there beside the parkette, but there is so much more space available.
