Back in the 80's, they switched from cane sugar to corn syrup. Now, since everyone in the Midwest is using corn to fuel their motor vehicles, corn syrup prices have gone through the roof. One bottler in Texas never switched, so when I went to Wal-Mart this afternoon and saw the 12 pk of 16oz cans of the Dr Pepper 10-2-4 old doc, I thought it was the Dublin Dr Pepper - http://www.dublindrpepper.com Nope - bottled by the local Dr Pepper bottler is what is says on the can.
