As it's going to be below zero tonight on March 8th, thought I'd relive a little summer time fun I had last year. About an hour's drive from my hometown there's an annual historical event called the Sterling Renaissance Festival. It's a photographer's delight with very colorful costumes and actors and you can get very close to the action. The hightlight of each day is the jousting tournament as depicted here. Now, if only that guy with the bad shirt and shorts wasn't there. :
