sunday the charter started later, 9:30 am, to allow going further up the line in search of snow, and to also chase sunset shots at either big horn or lava tank, so this was the first runby of the morning, a scenic done at the recommendation of 2 well skilled photographers that were there to assist the charter operators in lighting and location decisions. i really like this shot, i feel it gives a real feel for the scale of western scenics and western railroading, this is taken not too far outside of the daily starting point, antonito colorado.
