I am finding it hard to sleep. ; I am just too excited to go to Disney World in December. ; There is so much to do and see this time. ; I also have a new camera to test out, so hopefully I will be bringing back lots and lots of photos to share on the boards. ; Mousefest is also going to be quite an experience! ; Oh and I hope we get to do Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights. ; Yikes so much to do in such a few short days!! ; Only 44 days until my 4th trip to DW or so that is what my facebook counter says!
We are going from December 5 to 13. ; So 8 days. ; We both can't wait to go, if anything I can't wait for Disney to put me in the Christmas spirit this year. ;
Drat! ; I'm going to miss you by just one day!! We are going to MVMCP, can't WAIT!!! ; It IS just like waiting for Christmas, isn't it?
We are going to try and catch MVMCP as well. ; Have to been to it before? ; I think it would be a lot of fun, especially seeing snow in Main Street, and the hot chocolate, and the fireworks and the parade, oh I guess it would all be fun!
OMG we just booked for two extra days. ; We will now be there until the 15 of Dec. ; 10 whole wonderful days! ; Now I don't feel so paniced to go to Mousefest and get everything else done that we want to do. ; Only 41 more days! ; Can't wait. ;
MouseFest is a collection of fellow disney-nuts who meet in area and speak with some of the "Famous" disney people. http://www.mousefest.org/
Well, it seems like I will just have to sit here and hold down the fort while all of you trapse off to WDW!!!! ; Remember to bring back all of your reports for me/us to read when you get back.......oh, and pics of the castle all lit up pretty please!
LOL! ; Will do boss. ; And lots and lots of photos of Disney since both Sean and I are truly snap happy with the camera, especially with our new camera. ; The only thing we have to decide is who gets the camera to take pictures...isn't that right Sean?
We just got a new camera before our trip to WDW in September - bit the bullet and jumped into the digital SLR world. ; What kinda camera did you get?
We did just have a point and shoot digital camera, but then we made a huge jump and leap to the Canon 30D. ; My digital baby, or should I say our digital baby. ; It is going to be hard for both Sean and I to give up control of the camera to one another at Disney, but I definitely have it for the night shots session at Mousefest.
We bought a Pentax K100D - for newbies, trying to get into buying right lenses, etc. to take pictures of SpectroMagic and Fantasmic! as well as regular photos. ; It's amazing the difference in the clarity. ; And, as I learned on other boards (I joined the Disboards photography board before I bought, and asked a bunch of questions), megapixels don't matter so much as the digital SLR (something about sensor size, etc.) - apparently, a 6 mp digital SLR will take a much better photo (clarity, etc.) than a 12 mp point and shoot. But - I'm still learning. Enjoy your new camera. ; Hubby and I had fun learning with ours this past trip.
Earlier this year we purchased a new camera too and just love it. ; It's a Canon S3 IS, it has a nice zoom on it and takes great night photos. ; Always very exciting purchasing a new camera!
That is an underwater housing right? ; I have a friend that has one for his Canon point and shoot. ; Very cool!
Not just for cameras. Many different types of manufacturers. Water is no friend of the camera, neither is sand. Oh boy, I can't believe I am excited to look after my friends cat and plants while he is on vacation, but I certainly am. ; I look after his kitty and then by the time he gets back from vacation it will be a week away from our DW vacation ;D ; I can't believe how the time is flying.
