I'm NOT in Scranton, PA! (SOLVED)

If there's anywhere I know for sure I'm not...it would be Scranton...despite the photo with the words 'Scranton PA' prominently scrawled across it. So if I'm not there...where am I?

    Not there...still cold on location.

    OK...are you saying it's a little too generic? :)

Let me throw a little more in the photo, to hopefully make it just a little bit less obscure:

So the wider view isn't helping anyone? Really? OK...

How about this: You can see where this is from many places, but can only get this view from one place. If you pray, you'll have an advantage.

Is this in the queue for the Back Lot Tour at DHS (water tank)?

    Nope...not there. Still cold.

I think I can see Chomolungma from here, but not from where you are.

Yep...it's in DAK. And no...not at Everest (Chomolungma)...but it's quite visible from where this is.

I'm at a loss. It kind of looks like one of the Discovery River boat docks that are unused now, right next to the main bridge to Asia from Discovery Island. There is a blue barrel near there.

Is it on a boat dock?

You're close, but no...not on a boat dock. It's definitely close to water. You have to look down to see it. The place where this is can be seen from the bridge to Everest, from Everest, from Flame Tree...but this thing itself can't be seen unless you're much much closer.

Ugh! Didn't do so well with these two - and a few of the others I have left I didn't bother with because they were too easy.

    OK...summary of clues:

    - You can see where this is from many places, but can only get this view from one place.
    - If you pray, you'll have an advantage.
    - I think I can see Chomolungma from here.
    - Everest is quite visible from where this is.
    - It's close to water.
    - You have to look down to see it.
    - The place where this is can be seen from the bridge to Everest, from Everest, from Flame Tree; but this thing itself can't be seen unless you're much much closer.

More? Well it's around the corner from the steps where the laundry is done.
HOLD on...this has to be floating some ideas to someone! If someone doesn't get this, I gotta leave...where'd that car go?

I've just about gone blind looking at my photos from all around where I think this might be. I don't see it, so I'm going to take a wild guess: Is it on the boat next to the Everest shrine? The boat is around the corner from the laundry steps, and a shrine implies prayer, which is usually done on one's knees.

Re: I'm NOT in Scranton, PA! (COLVED)

Yes yes yes! Thank God someone got it before I had to resign it and reveal. I guess it's pretty obscure, since it's in the 'car go' 'hold' of the boat by the shrine.

Here's the boat that this shot is inside of. I was standing at the fence line you can see just behind the boat, looking down into it:

That was a good one, Justin. I'll have to make a point of looking into the boat on my next trip.

Apparently a tough one though! I'm running out of WAIs from this last trip, so I'll have to get back up there soon to get some more.
