Awww...we had two leucistic peafowl around my wetlands a few months ago that seemed to be a couple. ; They took up the bad habit of hanging out in the wetlands parking lot rather than IN the wetlands - one of them ended up being killed by a car, and the other wandered around lonely for weeks before they captured it and carted it away to a nearby farm.
That's sad Justin. ; They survived the winter here, and still as numerous. ; I only saw two females for sure, but there was at least 8 males roaming[nb]I guess you could call them free range, but they know what side their bread is buttered on. [/nb] the compound.
