President Theodore Roosevelt and John Muir discuss expanding national parks to include Yosemite valley in California as part of the American Adventure audio-animatronic show in Epcot's World Showcase. Click on photo for its flickr page I took this during the second viewing of the American Adventure with the Pixelmania! gang in December, 2009. ; We sat close enough so I could use my Nifty-Fifty, a Nikon 50mm f/1.8 lens, and shoot in the 800 to 1000 ISO range. ; It was just a few days after my daughter told me she had accepted her first professional job with the Theodore Roosevelt Center in North Dakota and I wanted to photograph this scene for her. ; I was very happy how this turned out.
That looks real good. One of these days I have to go into the American Adventure. Up until now I've always walked right by it, because, well, I live here, so why should I go there? ; : Erich
Mine came out OK too, but I was all the way at the other end of the theater from it, so they look much more distant! ; And I was using a 30mm, which didn't help.
Well, Justin this is cropped. ; The original has a lot of space to the left of Half Dome. ; My crop factor makes it a Nifty-75 but only a 6MP sensor. ; Anyway, it worked out well.
