    Cool. Did they set up spotlights for the second shot, or are those lights that are always there?

    I had a good time, I learned from cass that you have to have a mix of passive aggressive on the photo line. Some of them will not share unless the organizer makes frequent loud announcem$ents, at which time you need to move right up, or some will assume you were not interested.I expect some great shots showing up from mike with his mad train skilz. Lighting was halogen spots on stands, generator power, honda's mostly, quieter than the usual scene for me. And the event producer knew what kelvin to set for

    ; so me being inclined more towards a photojournalistic style, worshipping sharpness as it were, this is what it looked like to me as best i recall, at that time and in that place. imagine my surprise when i found myself trying these arty motion blur things, i kind of liked this one, so i've let it out in public, both here and the phanfare gallery, of course me being me and all, the train would be going backwards ; ; ; ;

    and of course no self respecting farmer in 1951 america would be out in november without his deer hunting hat and jacket on, over his carhart overalls

    Great shots Gary. ; If you hadn't said that the train was in reverse in the motion shot, I wouldn't have guessed. ;

    Nice work Gary! ; I'll try to post some shots when I get home tonight. ; I almost have them processed.

    ; I don't know of any charters in Florida, but a new tourist railroad called the Orange Blossom Cannonball started operating out of Tavares, FL recently. ; They have a wood burning Baldwin Mogul that was built in 1907. ; I'm hoping for a charter down there sometime since wood burning locomotives are extremely rare. ; http://www.orangeblossomcannonball.com/

    Gary, your steam pics look great. ;

    Michael, I can't wait to see yours.

    The Orange Blossom looks like a great side trip from WDW.

    phillipsburg is the hq for train ops, this was the last outing of the season, in fact they had to watch the coal usage so they could make it back to the yard to drop the fire for the winter
