Ok, so Justin and I met up at Animal Kingdom when he was here last week. ; We actually got to see the male lion! ; So here are a few photos, untouched, straight out of the camera.
I'll be reporting this to TDLBV; they obviously started spending their new fiscal year budget ahead of schedule. ; They fixed the audio-animatronics on it, which is odd because that budget was earmarked for the Yeti.
I had tried to explain to Jeff about the animatronics...but the poor guy still thinks it's a real lion. ; I was going to hammer home my point with proof - but I figured it was like telling the kids there's no santa...I didn't want to ruin the illusion for the guy. Here's one I grabbed at the same time:
