Hi there! I've been lurking here and the DIS photography boards for quite a while, and thought it was high time I registered and said hello. I must say, I've lost track of how many hours I've spent looking at all the great images here. Yes, I live in Orlando. Actually, depending on the weather, I can often hear the evening fireworks going off.

Welcome to the boards. ; Jump in and start posting your photo's we are all anxious to see them, and since you live in Orlando, many of us will be there from the 3rd - 6th for Pixelmania! ; Come and join us.
 
Actually, I'm seriously thinking about registering for Pixelmania. I'll post photos, just as soon as I can find an image posting FAQ or quidelines.

Welcome indeed - lucky you to be a local up there. ; Do come by and join us - register too if you get the chance, but you could probably still happen by during one of the walks and say hi even if not sticking around for the whole Pixelmania.

Quick question; is it possible to search only subject titles, not entire messages, for a keyword? I tried a search looking for past discussions of the merits of Flickr vs other online hosting sites, and as you can imagine, searching for "Flickr" produced quite a few results. :)

Go up to the top of the page and look for the bar that says HOME HELP SEARCH etc. and click SEARCH. ; On the search page, click Advanced search. ; Finally, check the Search in topic subjects only box.

Another feature of advanced search is the ability to limit the scope of your search to one or more specific areas. ; Click Choose a board to search in, or search all to see a list of forums to search.

And if all else fails, start a new thread!
