So I have to know, I have heard of some incredible numbers from the days of photo taking fun, and I have to know. ; How many gigabytes / photos did you take? ; I know for the 2 days that I was able to attend I shot just about 800 frames around 6 gig for me. ; I know this pales in comparison to some of your 1 day totals, but I am just wondering what everyone else got.
Well, I am still in the sorting and deleting phase - deciding which to keep and which to toss. ; My totals from the whole Pixelmania were 974 photos on one camera, 1,349 photos on the other camera. ; I shot either JPG, or RAW+JPG. ; My total JPG files are 12.6GB. ; My total RAW files (944 total RAW photos) come to 29.6GB. My first cull has knocked down my photos to 950 from almost 2,400...the throwaways were either flubbed shots, shots deemed uninteresting or superfluous, or multiples of the same thing (shots done in burst mode where I picked the best of the burst, or the original frames from HDR shots that were no longer needed). ; I'll do a second cull as I go through and decide if any shots need cropping or processing...many I'll just use the JPG and won't need the RAW at all, others I may want to work the RAW to see if I can pull more out of it. I hope to be able to knock the whole thing down to about 200 to upload and post, and around 450-500 for the friends-and-family slideshow. ; Hopefully I can knock out a few chunks each night, and have some of these done by the weekend!
6,918 shots / 196gb ; starting with the Campground meet Wednesday and ending with Osbourne Lights on Sunday. ; I shoot in burst mode for all live performances to try to catch the perfect expression, so the total is somewhat inflated due to that.
Wish I could have met up with you guys last week. Unfortunately, my schedule just didn't allow it. Another thing it didn't allow was for taking tons of photos. I normally come away from a Disney trip with multiple cards full, but this time I didn't even scratch the surface of what I brought with me. I shot just under 650 shots which clocks me in at 14.2GB
2200 shots (burst mode) on DHS Day which was nearly 16gb. ; Filled up another 16gb card for all the other days combined, but not sure of the total number on that, but probably around 1800. ; So maybe 30gb/4,000 photos prior to the culling.
not going to be able to be accurate as the rain and an early night last night allowed me to start deleting the dogs. but i know i did hit over 1000 on 2 days and almost filled 2 of the 64 gb cards at ak and studios
I took 4815 images. ; That includes 36 Tuesday night at POFQ and all of my shots on Wednesday, which includes the Campground. ; As for GB, I filled 5 16GB cards, half of a 16GB card, and 1.5 8GB cards, so roughly 100GB total.
I was only around starting on Thursday evening at MVMCP and missed Osborne on Sunday but ended up with 5,678 shots for 155GB but haven't purged any of the junk yet
Thanks for posting this Jeff, I was going to ask something similar and use the numbers in math somehow.
All I can say is Wow! Then again at the last 3 day airshow I shot I had about 90 GB, so I don't know why I'm surprised. Erich

Coming along...I've sorted my stack of photos down to about 650 or so...now, I need to go through and touch up, crop, or process as needed. ; I hit the first 100 so far, mostly those that the JPGs were fine and only needed slight cropping or minor touchup.
For Pixelmania only, 3400 shots, 38 GB. ; For the entire trip (including Pixelmania), 5600 shots, 62 GB.
Just finished pulling the cards from Tuesday, so I now have my totals for the entire trip (12/1-12/11): 10,975 shots / 311 BG
