    I am assuming that Hall of Presidents is too obvious, so if it is, my next guess would be the American Experience (in the Stairwell or Rotunda)...

    So it is obvious? just kidding. ; Okay, my next option would be Exposition Hall. ; Trying to think that it has to fit into a location by timeline (ie... set in the 1860s?)

    Actually, Lincoln was born in Kentucky and moved to Illinois as a boy (one of those things you are required to know when you live in Illinois). ; Although you had an incorrect fact, I think your clue still gave too much away.
