Hi, I'm back. Didn't get to take as many pics as I wanted to, but I digress.. Hard to sleep through fireworks. Every night. Twice on Saturday. Sunday my family was at the fence line for Illuminations at 11:40 p.m. The best New Years Eve show. Ever. That's for another post. All I can say is.... WOW! Staying at the Contemporary just moved up a few notches on my "must do someday" list.
I've always wanted to stay at the Contemporary.. and this is part of the reason why. Also I'm just a sucker for modern architecture.. I suspect that the Contemporary may be the reason why. You know when I was a kid I first thought the name was "temporary" and I had this irrational impression that it was only going to be around for a limited time before they tore it down and built a differently themed resort. Thanks for taking the time to give us a Contemporary eye view.. room view.. balcony view? whatever.. of the fireworks.
