10 years ago, my mom and step dad were foster parenting and they fell in love with a little boy. ; My grandmother was living with them and they figured, even though they were all older, between the 3 of them, they could provide a loving home for him, and so...they adopted him. ; His birth mother had him, got up, and walked out of that hospital..never even giving him a name.
My step dad fought a valiant battle with stage 4 lymphoma for two years after being told he had 2 months. ; 7 months later, my grandmother joined him. ; Now it's just mom and this precious little boy. ; 3 weeks ago, they moved 2 miles away from me, and he blesses my heart and my life nearly every day. ; He loves nerf guns, and the color pink, which is totally cool with me. ; I love him.
