I picked up another fast, action sport this year. ; The hockey kids wanted me to photograph their field lacrosse games this year. ; The game is much different than the box lacrosse game.

These were taken with a D7100 and the original Nikon 80-400VR AF lens. I have found using AF-C and d51 the best AF setting for sports.

April showers may bring May flowers but last night was a monsoon! Thankfully I used an OP/TECH Rainseleeve to keep the Nikon D7100 and 70-200VR setup nice and dry. ; Just had to keep wiping the lens glass off every quarter.

Nice work Scott! ; I like how the stadium lighting brings out the rain in the first shot of the last pair.

Thanks, Michael! ; The 70-200VR f/2.8 on the D7100 with the 1.3x crop setting is my poor man's 400 f/2.8. I am liking the results so far and it weights a heck of a lot less!
