At least according to my tour guide CM. <img src="http://www.themeparkphotos.us/assets/images/db_images/db_IMG_5810a-iC_21.jpg" />
I think Byron is right. I went to Google Maps' aerials and measured; the lake is about 500 feet across at the ears, while the big Mickey face at MGM (which was completely ruined by the BAH, by the way) is only about 200 feet across. The island in AK looks to be only around 30 feet, so it's not even in the same ballpark.
anyone have an overhead shot of the kilimanjaro safari island? i never knew that there was a HM in there. curious, i've never heard it mentioned in the ride spiel.
Here ya go Tim..... It also depends on one's definition of a hidden mickey. Some would say that some large Mickeys are not true HMs. Ones like the lake at the race track, a bunker on the 6th hole of the Palm golf corse (I believe it the Palm course), the practice putting green over at Osprey Ridge. However the MGM HM is definately at true HM (it's not obvious) and is much larger than the island.
Wow how cool is that?? I think I march the parks to fast, I never take time to look for hidden mickeys, but now I can't get enough of them, these ones are great thanks for sharing the photos
