    Howie, you are getting really good with that lens of yours. ; I like the Heron shot a lot. ; It is so crisp.

    I've never been able to get that close to a heron. ; Nice shot.

    thanks. yes there are skittish. this one was in shallow water about 30 ft away. took it from inside the car as I knew if I got out it would take off plus had the tamron 200-500 lens. after a few shots he took off
