Here's a few more black and whites with Color Accents

  1. I always loved the entrances to WDW and each park-the only one I've had trouble photographing because of the angle was MGM. Anyone have any good ones?

    yeah, my gears are grinding too, especially since I am still playing with my 30 day trial of corel photo!

    Craig, I think Target has PSP Photo XI full on sale until near the end of June for 59.99
     
  5. Gotta love Photoshop. I use this technique all the time for portraits-my clients love it. I usually accent props and kids favorite toys, etc. Puts a new twist on some Disney photos, though.

    can anyone point me in the direction of a good on line or downloadable tutorial on this, it 's a great technique, i just have no idea how it's done, thanks

    thanks very much, i have photoshop 7 so this should work, can't wait to try it out, have some car racing/dirt track photos that would lok real cool done this way, esp some sprint car stuff

    actually there is an easier way to do this....

    open the color image
    go to layer -> duplicate layer
    select top layer
    go to saturation and move all the way left (not grayscale... looks better that way)
    hit quick mask on the layers palette then click the rectangle that opens up on layers palette
    paint with a black brush over the area you want to have the color restored, white brush to clean up mistakes
    flatten image and done!
