Hello Disney Magic

I found this site when I was doing some Google surfing about D23. ; I thought "great a Disney site for Canadians" and joined as soon as I could. ; Now having looked around the site some more, I see it more specifically relates to Walt Disney World. ; I am in British Columbia and a huge Disney fan but Disneyland, California is my main interest. ; My family (all 6 of us) has been to Disneyland many times but never to WDW - it is much farther for us. ; Maybe one day we will go there. ;

I will hang around and check out the posts but I would like to suggest the site be expanded to add a "Disneyland Community Chat" section in the forum... or is it going to be WDW only?

Hi Westwind - welcome, welcome. ; It can seem that we're overally focussed on WDW sometimes, but there certainly are many who go to DL often (as well as DCL). ; Feel free to jump in on a subject. ; I certainly book many trips for folks to DL as well as WDW (I'm a travel agent - there are a couple of us here, I believe), and keep up-to-date on developments re: specials, etc., for all Disney sites.

Thanks for the welcomes and the directions to the Disneyland topic section. ; The heading of the entire section threw me off as it says Walt Disney World community chat. ; To me Walt Disney World means the Florida location and I wasn't expecting a Disneyland topic under that.

I know quite a bit about the California location including DL / DCA / DD and some of the area.

So glad you stopped by and joined our little community, The reason we are lacking Disneyland information is because myself and my wife have not been to Disneyland. Some of our members here have been and there has been some talk of them helping out with the Disneyland section ....

Now that i live in Calgary, i plan to visit Disneyland and write a very large section.....

There are quite a few of us who have visited DLR too. I loved California and hope to go back with my DDs when they are older and can enjoy more of what the state can offer. The plane ride & time change was a killer for us.

Make sure to try and see WDW at least once ... you may become MORE addicted! ; ;D
