I have been hearing a rumor on some of the podcast I listen to, specifically The Dis Unplugged, that the graveyard by the entrance door to the Haunted Mansion is gone for good? ; When I was there a couple of weeks ago the queue was boarded up so you could not see it. ; Some rumors about making the queue interactive like at Soarin!? ; Anyone heard anything about this or have I been so out of touch lately that I missed it.
They are expanding the queue to facilitate wheelchairs and the like and part of the expansion will cover the graveyard down to the rivers edge from what I've heard. ; It is possible the graveyard will be relocated. ; My guess would be somewhere near the broken bird bath or stroller parking areas, but that is just a guess. ; Apparently some sort of interactive demo was conducted earlier this year but I fail to see how it would be necessary since the line moves quickly. ; (from my htc incredible)
Yeah I heard that update about the graveyard as well, however it seems like that if you visit when the expanded queue isn't open, you won't have access to the graveyard.
It was definitely boarded up when I was there last weekend. ; I also do not see the need to add an interactive element outside since it moves so fast- and if they did change anything it should be a solution to the log jam between the stretching room and the doom-buggies which is where I usually get frustrated waiting all crammed in there.
Same here. ; If they keep all the existing gravestones and add more stones like the "interactive" Madame Leota, then I'll be ok with it. ; However, I would hate to see them add games into that queue like they have elsewhere.
