I am starting to go through my pics, didn't really take too many this trip....other threads show the uploaded JPG to my phone, these are from the RAW file via LR4 with adjustments.

So what's your review on the Speed Booster so far, now that you've tried it on dark rides? ; Are you using the Metabones version or the cheaper Turbo version? ; And if you have the full function Metabones version, do you find AF at all usable, or are you sticking with all manual?

I'm considering a Speed Booster, or a cheap Lens Turbo version for some of my other mounts like Pentax...looks like the performance is pretty solid!

I am using the Chinese version mainly because the lens I am using is manual only and metabones hasn't released a model for Canon FD yet.

So far I've really liked it. I wish I had a chance to try it on Pan, but I am amazed on the shots I got from the three dark rides I used it on.

The jpegs were really good but the raw files have so much more detail in them once I got home!

Do you have links for the adapters so I can look at them?

The Lens Turbo adapters are made by Mitakon:

Some reviews said they're not quite as good as the Metabones adapters, such as having slightly softer corners on some lenses, or suffering from a lens flare/green dot issue at some apertures....but they're cheap and manual so a good way to experiment with the full frame adapters.

Awesome Roger! What aperture and shutter were you using? I don't understand the big deal with softer corners. I would think most people would buy the adapter for that full frame shallow dof.

    Camera Maker: SONY
    Camera Model: NEX-6
    Lens: ----
    Image Date: 2013-07-27
    Aperture: f/1.0
    Exposure Time: 0.020 s (1/50)
    ISO equiv: 6400
    Exposure Bias: none
    Metering Mode: Matrix
    Exposure: shutter priority (semi-auto)
    White Balance: Auto
    Flash Fired: No (enforced)
    GPS Coordinate: undefined, undefined
Software: Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4.4 (Windows)

It says f/1.0 but it doesn't report. ; It was at f/1.2 before the speed boost, so it's closer to f/0.95

Yep. Corner of the glass too. I'm not complaining about my adapter.

I would love to try again and this time concentrate on the book itself.... Could be fun. Wish I had more time in CA this last time.

Anybody make out the rest? ; I've read where the imagineers did some more humor in the book similar to the epitaphs.
