I hope everyone is able to relax and enjoy themselves... But remember, don't drink and drive (lawn tractors, atv's or anything else). ; Ham Ham... I'm expecting a truly unique image for this one!
In Quebec it is Journée nationale des Patriotes. Post is a little late due to the fact I was in Montreal visiting my mother and attending the 40th anniversary ; of the opening of my high school. There was a reunion for all of the graduating classes. I was the only registered attendee from my graduation class of over 600 students. Still enjoyed myself seeing old friends from different years. Several folks cam up to me and said "your the guy that was always taking pictures for the yearbook". For the record my beverage of choice for the weekend was bottled water with a slice of lemon. Alcohol, drugs and driving anything doesn't mix. Nothing wrong with having a little fun but safety is important. If something goes wrong they'll call it an accident.
Why does it always have to be cold, rainy every Victoria Day weekend. ; We did a movie marathon with friends at the cottage...
In Montreal it was beautiful. I also bought our first HDTV from a friend store in mTL. Called Rogers this morning and now have HDTV/PVR free for two years. I'll be hooking it up later today and not moving from the TV room for six weeks.
Really? ; It was a beautiful 30 degrees here in Calgary on Saturday. ; Cooled down yesterday, but it was still shorts and t-shirt weather. ; First time in a few years that it has actually been warm on May long weekend.
