ok ok I couldn't come up with a better title that didn't make DAK sound...well... Let's just say going to the real places beats DAK hands down.

Yes it is...I had a whole paragraph typed out but I didn't want to bring some things into the discussion.

Google " 26/11 attacks" if you want. That's the Taj Mahal Hotel (Palace) on the left.
 
A very good client of mine stayed in that very hotel. On November 24th through November 28th, 2008. He ended up going down a firetruck ladder from a window in a rescue attempt for tourists stuck in the hotel when the bombs went off. He has some crazy stories to tell!

Has he gone back? They've learned from that day. Every hotel in Mumbai has.
 
He has been back a few times. He owns a home design/decor firm and does business with India frequently. It didn't seem to phase him too badly.
