figures i see this as i'm sitting catching up before heading to the airport, flight tonight to mco at 1905, we'll be at okw until sunday, at not so scary tomorrow night, equipped with my 2 week old 5dmk2. i got tired of waiting for an upgrade witht he better af system, and i really wanted the improved high iso. so i pulled the trigger on the deal. so unpack the camera, download and install, repack the camera, so i'm all updated from 2.07, although it seems from what i can see, maybe none of this upgrade does anything for me. i haven't even bothered reading the section about video yet, i really have no interest in that, and if i want good hd video, i'll just buy a good minicam
I was rocking 1.1.0 until about 3 days ago. ; Most of the firmware upgrades have been aimed at video. ; I wish they would fix the poor flash exposure that is a known issue. ;
no, i still have the 5d, i'll probably hang on to it as a backup, and give the xti plus 2 ef-s lenses to my mom for a christmas present, replacing the old d30 i gave her way back when i got my 20d
