Flower & Garden Fest

I'm really digging the flower macros. Especially the one before the bonsai tree.

Consider me inspired to look more closely at plants to see what I might have been missing.

 

was the 3rd one, the end on with blurred background done with a lensbaby?, that's a lens i've been really intrigued with, i've seen some very creative stuff lately with what many first dismissed as "oh that's not a real photography tool, it's just some cute trick"

 

Those are awsome gdad. The lensbaby is something I"m interested in as well.

 

Thanks all- nope- no lensbaby. I have heard of those but dont really know what that is or does.

 

It's sort of a selective focus lens. It isn't made like a normal lens it has a bunch of different adjustments on the outside. It's really interesting.

 

Nikon has a few DC (Defocus Control) lenses that do that I thought looked interesting- they are expensive though.

 

Those are really, really nice shots!

I Love the F & G Fest. Haven't been in a few years, but I had a friend that went last week & i had him pick up some F & G pins for my collections. Now looking at your photos gives me the fix I need.
