Anyone else photograph fireworks this 4th of July weekend? Syracuse had some at the Inner Harbor last night. ; I used the 3-stop Neutral Density filter to see how it would work on a non-Disney show. ; It took me a few tries to figure out I needed to look for a stacked set of bursts. ; Ones at various heights. ; All taken with a Nikon D700/28-300VR lens at 28mm, f/16, ISO 200 and EV 0 on a tripod with remote shutter release. 31.5 seconds. 25 seconds. 36.9 seconds. 27.3 seconds. Still missed out on the finale. ; 13 seconds was too long.
Unfortunately there are no fireworks in my area this year. ; Things like "extreme drought", "burn ban", and "tinder box" are thrown about. Even Sea World San Antonio's weekend fireworks were cancelled: http://www.seaworldsanantonioblog.com/n ... ean-no-fun It's a big deal for that one as SWSA usually only has fireworks for the 4th of July and New Years Eve. Nice shots though Scott!
Great shots Scott! ; I plan on trying and probably ruining some fireworks shots at WDW in a few weeks. ; I did not see any 4th of July Fireworks since I was in Bermuda. ;
