It's ordered, and hopefully here in a week or so, just in time for the June trip to Disney. ; I couldn't resist the price - I was considering the Sony 35mm F1.4, but that wasn't coming down to less than around $1,100. ; So after checking alot of reviews, and finding them generally favorable, I decided the Sigma 30mm F1.4 was just a good deal, and delivered good enough quality for the money to be worth the pickup...plus, it's even a little wider. ; With the 1.5 crop, I've got close to a 'normal' view - 45mm. ; Compared to my 50mm F1.7 (great lens), the 30mm wider view (75mm crop-factor was a bit restricting) and slight gain in sensitivity will be nice. Price wherever I looked was $429...but finally found one at $368, free shipping, no tax. ; With two discount codes worth $20, it came to $348 shipped. Now if only the Tamron 10-24 would come out before June 3...It would be like an all-new Disney, shooting with two lenses and perspectives I've never shot before!
Glad to see that you got your lens Justin. ; I hope to have mine by my August trip, but I REALLY want it for Pixelmania!
