We were able to watch our town's fireworks right from our balcony in our apartment last night. It was nice not having to go anywhere to watch them. I used my tripod and my cannon 10 megapixel powershot camera and the pictures turned out better than I thought they would!! If only I could use a tripod in WDW for fireworks. (Can you use the little bendy tripod there?) Anyways here are some of the best shots that I took last night.

Nice shots Tiffany. ; You can use the tripod, BUT I don't know if you could find someplace to put it without being blocked by the crowd.

Thanks! That's great to know. You have a point. Maybe more useful at Epcot with illuminations than in MK wishes. Epcot you have the rail and if you sit long enough you can get a front row seat to it so that would be cool. Thanks for the info!

jeff is right. ; if you have a gorilla pod or something similar, you can just wrap it on a railing or lamp post or whatever else you can find. ; a nice small travel tripod would do you well. ; since you are using a P&S, you don't need to worry about weight capacity or other issues like some of us here do.

and, if your camera supports it, ALWAYS get a cable release for when you use a tripod.
