There are all kinds of shows at the America Gardens Theatre. There are the concert series during Flower & Garden, summer and Food & Wine. They also have groups at random times just to entertain guests. Post your shots of those concerts here.

As more and more acts from the 60s die off (RIP Paul Revere), Disney decided to rebrand the Flower Power concert series as Garden Rocks. Herman's Hermits Starring Peter Noone was the only 60s act in the 2015 series. Here's a nice shot of Peter Noone giving the thumbs-up to someone in the crowd.

Wilson Phillips make beautiful music together. Considering that their parents are from the Beach Boys (Brian Wilson) and The Mamas & The Papas (John and Michelle Phillips), harmonizing is in their blood.


Still holding on
 
I went to see Big Bad Voodoo Daddy play with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra over the weekend. The show was fantastic, as always, but it reminded me that I hadn't posted any photos of the band from last November, when I made a special trip to WDW to see them play at Food & Wine. So here's a shot of part of the band. I'll try to get to the rest of them before Pixelmania.

big bad voodoo daddy, what can i say, they were on the bucket list, for probably the last 4 years, and it was always some conflict, or i was out of town, or they skipped long island , but last labor day they came to rhythm & roots on saturday night, my friend kevin has seen them several times and did not know i had never seen them. what a show, anyone that has even a slight like for horns, or big band needs to see this band. and it's ironic you put this up, karen and i went to the paramount theater in huntington tuesday night to see boz scaggs, another great show by the way, and found out about bbvd coming to town 12/19, and i just got off line from buying tickets
 
Another group known for its harmonies is Manhattan Transfer. I was pleased to see them on the Eat to the Beat schedule in 2013. Cheryl Bentyne is one of the founding members and has battled cancer not once but twice in her life. Still she keeps singing.

Here's another shot of part of Big Bad Voodoo Daddy from November, 2017. It's hard to get the whole nine-piece band in one shot, especially when sitting up close with a long lens.

When Night Ranger played at Epcot in 2012, I thought I recognized this face. It's Joel Hoekstra, who I've seen playing with Trans-Siberian Orchestra for several years. (He still plays with TSO, but has left Night Ranger for Whitesnake.) Every time I've seen him on stage, he has that big smile on his face.
